Welcome to the RFMGA Website.
 

The RFMGA is a non-profit organization dedicated to organizing competitive, yet fun, golf tournaments and social events for the River Falls golf community.

You must Register to use this website.  Members in good standing will have additional access privileges, such as access to the Member List and the ability to sign up for tournaments.  Also, registered Users will be included on the RFMGA email distribution list.

To become a member, please complete and submit the Membership Application Form with a check for your annual membership dues at the River Falls Pro Shop or use the online registration/entry form (below).

·         Saturday - 8:00 AM

Calcutta Party & Social:
·         Friday May 18th at 7:00 PM at Sully’s
·         Appetizers & Cash Bar with 2 Drink Tickets Per Player
·         Calcutta & “Wives” Calcutta
Refreshments:
·         Hotdog, Chips and Fountain Drink Provided after the Round on both days.
Eligibility:
·         River Falls Men’s Golf Association members with established handicaps at River Falls. Members must have a current USGA handicap. If you do not have an established handicap, 5 signed score cards will enable you to qualify for a handicap card. Current handicaps must be presented by May 14th.
·         If you haven’t joined the River Falls Men’s Golf Association, applications are available at the Pro Shop and the RFMGA website (RFMGA.com).
Format:
·         Handicapped stroke play using 90% of each players handicap
·         Best net ball per hole per two man team
·         Select your own partner. If you do not have a partner, send in your entry and pairings will be decided by a blind draw
Entry Fee:
$50.00 per player
·         Players responsible for greens and cart fees.
·         Entry fee includes tournament prizes
·         Entry fee includes closest to the pin contest (all par 3s, both days)
Entry Closing:
Registration will close at the end of the day on Monday, May 14
·         Entries with payment may be submitted at the Pro Shop or the RFMGA web site (RFMGA.com)
·         When registering as a team select the $100 entry fee and list the second player as the guest, or each player may register separately by selecting the $50 entry fee and identify the playing partner in the comment area
·         Individuals without a partner may register (select the $50 entry fee) and a playing partner will be assigned by blind draw
·         If you have problems using the website to register you should contact Kevin Russo for assistance by phone at 270-3969 or email at Admin@RFMGA.com
·         After May 8, Players may contact Kevin, Greg Sheppard or the Pro Shop to be placed on the Alternates list
Rules:
·         Players will play from the RFMGA tees
·         Seniors (50+) may play from the Wood tees with the appropriate handicap adjustment
·         Play will be governed by current USGA Rules of Golf
·         Questions shall be settled by the designated Rules Committee whose decisions shall be final
·         Playoffs (sudden death) will be decided on the course. In the event of darkness Chris Hodge will supervise a chip off.

2012 Opening Day Tournament Results

Twenty Eight Players participated in the 2012 Opening Day Tournament.  The tournament was a 2 man Captains Choice format.  The winning Team of Joey Amos won a three way scorecard playoff against the teams of Mike Boncoddo & Darrell Nasser and Tony Amos & Ken Patrick.


2012 Annual Business Meeting Tournament Results

Thirty Two members participated in the 2012 Annual Business Meeting Tournament on January 21.  The tournament was a Four Man, Two Best Ball format.  The winning team with a score of 127 consisted of Don Metcalf, Jeff Satterfield, Martin Donahue and Rod Stanis.  Second place, based on a scorecard playoff, went to the team of Chris Giardina, Dassell Nasser, Johnny Desai and Sean Nichols.


2011 Match Play Tournament Results

Congratulations to Ed Smith and Jerry Humphries for winning the 2011 Mens Match Play and Super Senior Match Play Tournaments (respectively).  Ed won in 38 holes over Joe Bridges.  Jerry won 4 & 3 over Don Boiter in their 36 hole finals match.  Click on the following links to see the full details of the bracket results for the Mens or Super Senior Match Play Tournament.


2011 Club Championship Results

Congratulations to Trevor Walling, Kevin Russo and Bill Henley for winning the 2011 River Falls Club Championship, Senior Club Championship and Super Senior Club Championship (respectively). All three players successfully defended their 2010 titles. David Everette, Charlie White and Bob Beran won the titles for the net score competition.

Boncoddo & Keels Win 2011 Member-Guest
The team of Mike Boncoddo & Robbie Keels won the 2011 Member-Guest tournament held July 23 & 24. The teams of Johnny Desai & Dharmik Desai and Jeff Satterfield & Danny Horne tied for second place. Darrell Nasser & Coby West came in fourth and Rakesh Naid & Daryl Young placed fifth. We had an excellent turnout for the event with 40 players participating despite the very hot weather.

 


2011 Match Play Pairings

The pairings for the 2011 Match Play tournament were determined this evening (June 24).  There are 29 players participating in the Mens Regular tournament and 8 players participating in the Super Seniors tournament.  To view the pairings, select this link.  Scroll to the bottom of the parings to see the schedule for completing the matches.


River Falls Wins the River Falls vs Old South Challenge Cup

The River Falls vs Old South tournament was held on Saturday and Sunday, April 16 & 17.  The River Falls team was led by captain Rod Stanis.  Dave Dodge captained the Old South side.  Participants who braved cold rain and strong winds on Saturday were treated to a beautiful day on Sunday with only mild wind.  Unfortunately for the Old South team, the fair weather worked out to the advantage of the River Falls team who came back from a 1 point deficit on Saturday to win the tournament 24 to 16.
